Jonas Fellenstein

Jonas is a landscape and aerial photographer from Germany located in Ireland. At the age of 12 he had his first camera in his hand and was documenting a two-week family trip to China. The distant and the unexpected has had its appeals to him, which is why he lived in five different countries in recent years to get to know new cultures, landscapes and people. Jonas is looking for minimal but expressive compositions, atmospheric conditions and unique snapshots. He is drawn to quiet and untouched places that embody freedom and vision. He finds his inspiration mainly in the Scandinavian countries but also in the nature and wildlife of tropical places. Favourite places he visited so far were Namibia and Norway.
